A prenatal lactation class helps you start breastfeeding with confidence and avoid common challenges before they happen. Prepare for a confident start to your feeding journey.
This one-on-one session during pregnancy provides personalized guidance on what to expect in the early days of breastfeeding. We’ll cover latch, milk supply, newborn feeding patterns, and how to prevent common challenges.
You’ll leave with a clear plan, practical skills, and the confidence to begin feeding your baby with support.
Why does it matter?
Instead of waiting until there’s:
Pain
Latch issues
Low milk supply
This class will help prevent problems before they start.

Get the support from our IBCLC to solve any extended breastfeeding issues related to nursing an older toddler.
The World Health Organization emphasizes that to meet the evolving nutritional requirements, infants should receive adequate and safe complementary foods while breastfeeding continues up to two years of age or beyond. (WHO, 1992/2002)
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that "Breastfeeding should be continued for at least the first year of life and beyond for as long as mutually desired by mother and child. Increased duration of breastfeeding confers significant health and developmental benefits for the child and the mother. There is no upper limit to the duration of breastfeeding and no evidence of psychological or developmental harm from breastfeeding into the third year of life or longer." (AAP 2005)
